Clifford Chan - About Me

Hi, I’m Clifford Chan, a third-year Entrepreneurship and Business student at California Polytechnics. From a young age, I’ve been fascinated by how innovative technologies can transform lives and solve complex global challenges. This passion has driven me to pursue a career in venture capitalism, where I can play a pivotal role in identifying and supporting the next generation of game-changing startups.

My Journey

My entrepreneurial spirit was ignited during my first year in college when my father brief me how technologies can improve all walks of live. He also taught me the fundamentals of business management, strategic planning, and the importance of resilience in the face of challenges.

My father is a retired software engineer and my mother is a retired banker. They both support me to be a venture capitalist. My father is not only a retired software engineer but also running his own algo trading system for our daily living and also funding his small startup project.

Education

Currently, I’m honing my skills and expanding my knowledge through a comprehensive curriculum that covers key areas such as venture capital, startup ecosystems, financial analysis, and strategic entrepreneurship. My education has equipped me with a strong foundation to pursue my aspiration of becoming a venture capitalist.

Vision

I envision a future where innovative technologies enhance the quality of life for people around the world. By connecting visionary entrepreneurs with the resources and mentorship they need, I aim to foster an environment where groundbreaking ideas can flourish and make a significant impact.
